Our little angels (and goblins and witches) spent Tues evening trick-or-treating, then hauled it to school the rest of the week. Mobile Loaves and Fishes received thousands of pieces of candy from our school children in the days after Halloween to distribute on the streets of Austin. Kathy Clark organized this annual donation drive; Maureen Moore, Misa Rojo, Laura Cochrane, and Jean Rodgers spent three hours Friday Nov. 3rd counting all the candy. Barry Clark delivered it to the food trucks. For months to come, folks will savor this effort to spread a little sweetness.
